Provides up to $400,000 to eligible homeowners who lost their primary residence to the 2023 Maui wildfires, and who have already rebuilt their homes.

First-Time Homebuyer Opportunity Program
Provides up to $600,000 to Maui County residents who do not own a home, for the purchase of a home. Priority is given to renters who were impacted by the 2023 wildfires.

Single-Family New Construction Program
Provides funds to acquire and/or develop turnkey, affordable homes for eligible first-time homebuyers or leaseholders. (Program under development)

Multifamily Rental Housing Reconstruction
Provides gap funding in the form of a subsidy or a loan to support infrastructure or the reconstruction of affordable multifamily rental units (5 or more units) that were destroyed by the 2023 Maui wildfires.

Provides funding to support the development of new multifamily rental housing across Maui County, with the goal to increase the supply of affordable rental units, especially for households impacted by the 2023 Maui wildfires.
